On my dad's last day in the city, it only made sense to get one last great view of the city! So, we went to the highest viewing point in Prague, Petrin Hill and tower! Petrin tower was built as part of the Jubilee Exhibition in 1891 as a copy of the Eiffel Tower. It is 63.5 metres high, and we walked all 299 steps to the top, which is at the same altitude as the real Eiffel Tower!

The views were worth all of the steps! I may have needed to stop and get a pep talk from my dad half way up, it was scary high! You can see all of Prague, and even out to Bohemia! I never thought the Prague Castle could look so small!

Selfie at the top!

The view of the tower from the top of Prague Castle! It was that high!

The Petrin Tower was located on a hill with an old Monastery, and the buildings we passed had incredible architecture!

After our hike down, my dad finally got the taste of his first Eurodog!! I had been looking forward to this moment all week, and he gave it a perfect rating!

We made sure to take another walk across the Charles Bridge!

My dad had to touch the plaque on the statue of John of Nepomuk, since touching the falling priest on the plaque is supposed to bring good luck and promise your return to Prague! This means he is coming back soon!

We then headed over to see the Church of Our Lady Victorious, home of the famous Child Jesus statue called the "Infant Jesus of Prague." This doll is a huge symbol to Prague, and is the only part of the church that survived during the destruction of the 30 years war. It is legend that this child Jesus watches over Prague, and he has a different outfit put on every day!

For dinner, we went to Plzeňská restaurace in The Municipal House, where we had gone with our family last time we went to Prague! We had a feast in honor of the good times we had that week!

Serenaded before the long flight back in the morning! He played some American classics for us, including "Country Roads!" (All the words were in Czech!)

Had such an amazing time with my dad here! It was great having a piece of home in Prague, and to be a pretend tour guide for the week! (Of course my dad still knew more about The Czech Republic than me, so I found myself learning lots of new things too!) Hope we can travel again together soon!
