So as many of you know, some members of our choir have been coming a few days late to Prague, due to the international visa process. Every time a new person shows up, the first thing they want to do is see the Prague Castle! We took our friend Alec up to see the landmark, and getting there was quite an adventure! We had gotten on a tram, and when we got off for our stop, we realized Laura hadn't gotten off with us! She had gone up a car to get a seat, and didn't notice us get off. We frantically waved at her to get off at the next stop, and all had run a ways up to find her! At last, we were reunited, and realized we had actually gotten ourselves to the Summer gardens to the castle! (just another reason getting lost can be a GOOD thing!

The view of the Prague Castle from the garden! We definitely coming back here in warmer weather!

There ended up being a short cut to the castle from the gardens, and we showed Alec the castle grounds, and coffee grounds!

The guards at the side entrance to the castle!

This is a side view of the cathedral inside the castle, here you can see a mural painted on the side.

Drinking coffee, overlooking Prague!

We stopped and got our first EURODOGS!!!! Shannon and I had been dreaming about them this whole trip, and you can one for 25 Czech Korunas, the equivalent to 1 US dollar! If there are any days we need to save money, we are definitely coming back for more! They are delicious, and super filling!

We then walked around Old Town, and came across two amazing stores! My favorite was a music store that claimed to have the biggest record collection for sale in Europe! Honestly, I believed it. Their collection was HUGE, and I'm definitely coming back to buy a Dvorak vynl as a souvenir. (A huge influencial Czech composer, and one of my personal favorites!)

Hi Kyla!

I had a "thriller" time!

The other cool store we found was actually a giant toy store!! I always tell people I am 20 going on 7, and I think our group of college kids had more fun than anyone in the store!

There was a carousel inside, and we waited behind a bunch of 5 year olds to go down a huge slide! We all screamed on the way down, and agreed that a slide 3 stories high would never pass safety codes in America!

What a fun day, and always remember you are as young as you feel!
