Sometimes, all you have to do is get lost to find exactly what you are looking for.

On Saturday, we had originally gone out looking for the Klementinum library, a library inside a Dominican monastery founded in the medieval period! However, we found the the building to be closed for reconstruction. I brought up a book tunnel in Prague I had seen online, and we went out to find it! We stopped to ask for directions, and ended up walking into the lobby to ask, AND DISCOVERED IT RIGHT THERE! The artist Matej Krén, created this book sculpture, called Idiom! It can be found in the entrance of the Prague Municipal Library at Mariánské náměstí. The top and bottom of the tunnel are made of mirrors, making the books look like they go on infinitely!

It really was a life lesson, that you don't have to always know where you are going, to end up where you want to be!

Sometimes, you just have to live in the moment, and trust something bigger than yourself!

But wait, that wasn't the only crazy coincidence to happen that day!

After we went to the book tunnel, we headed out to meet up with the rest of our choir for dinner! Dr. Foster recommended the Plzenska Restaurant, and it is on the bottom floor of the Municipal House!

Right when I entered, I REALIZED I HAD BEEN THERE LAST TIME I WENT TO PRAGUE! I recognized a man playing the accordion, and I had an immediate flashback to 2009, when my family went on our European trip! This was where we ate dinner our last night in Prague, and was one of my favorite memories from the trip! I texted my family, and they sent me pictures from the last time we ate there!

What is even crazier, is that THE SAME MAN WAS PLAYING THE ACCORDION!!!

We talked for a while, and I showed him my pictures! Turns out, him and his wife have been playing at the restaurant for 11 years! How crazy!!

He took a picture with me, and gave me a free CD! It was insane that we ended up at the same restaurant, but having the same accordion player??? What are the odds?

Czech out their music!! Their album is made up of traditional Czech folk songs, and you can see the songs written on the front of their album cover!

My beautiful roomie and I danced the night away!

What an incredible day! Somedays the best days are the ones you don't plan for! I created my first Prague tradition, and next time I come back here, I will definitely be going to the same restaurant, and hope to see this accordion duo keep playing for years!
