On the second day, we got in the habit of waking up early, so we can get the most possible out of each day! The first week was super exciting, and there were so many things we wanted to see! Day two was our first one without a tour guide, so it was up to us to navigate the metro and trolley system of the city! The metros actually operate on an honor system, so they don't check your passes before you get on! However, police will ask people at random to see their passes, and if you don't have yours, you have to pay a huge fine. This makes the metro trips much faster!

We did a pretty good job of navigating, and stumbled upon a cute crepe place to start our morning!

Just another example of always "looking up" here in Prague! Check out those ceilings!

We then went and walked around Old Town, and walked around under Charles Bridge! We found lots of interesting shops, including many puppet ones: a fun and traditional source of entertainment in Prague!

One of the many street performer acts we walked by! We couldn't figure this one out..

Old Town is incredible. Everywhere you look there are panoramic views, ancient buildings, and artwork!

Definitely getting a boat ride once it gets warmer out, it has been below freezing every day so far! Peep the swans

We found some more "love locks," and obviously had to take some pictures!

Loved exploring with these beauties!

We then went to the Communism Museum, to learn more about the history of Prague! It was so interesting to read about all of the changes in the country, and the fight for democracy! Museums in Prague are very different from America because nothing is behind glass or with sensor tape in front of it. It was crazy to see the brainwashing and struggles The Czech Republic had to go through under Communism, and I am so lucky to live in a country where we have been Democratic since the Revolutionary War. They don't call us "Land of The Free" for nothing!

Piece of the Berlin Wall, I loved this quote!

We finished up the night by going out to a Jazz bar in downtown! There was a Jazz trio playing there, and they were so fun to listen to! The bar was in a really cool building, lined with records and old instruments, and it was a very classy girls night! There were lots of locals there, so it was great to go somewhere that wasn't touristy and overpriced!

What a fun, full day! Tomorrow we are going on another adventure! Thanks for reading!
